Register of Transparency and Ultimate Beneficiary Owners: Powers of Attorney
We would like to inform you about a recent request for a precautionary measure filed by the Costa Rican Bar Association and accepted by the Contentious Administrative Court. This measure seeks to maintain the possibility of making the UBO declaration using special powers of attorney.
The competent court granted this request for a precautionary measure on April 19, so that during the next ordinary period of RTBF declaration in July, the special powers granted in accordance with previous provisions may continue to be used. This situation will be maintained until the competent authorities issue a different ruling.
